An Astoria restaurant blog, the Foodista, reported that this New Orleans-themed restaurant — with the intriguing name Sugar Freak — is expected to soft launch the first week of June. Any signs of life? Love the decor and the concept. (5.29.11, 30th Ave. and 37th St.)

despite the fact the photo is upside-down, i can ‘still’ tell that this place features a handsome fleur-de-lis on its facade. a sign that kappa is following me to my neighborhood? probably.
